Rahul Shrivastav
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF IU DINING
Rahul Shrivastav has served as the Executive Director of IU Dining & Hospitality since 2017. His emphasis on scratch-made meals, locally and ethically sourced food, and incorporating student voices into decision-making processes has significantly improved campus dining.
Rahul earned a diploma from the Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology in Bhopal, India, and a bachelor's degree in hospitality and tourism from Southern Cross University in Sydney, Australia. He previously worked at the Four Seasons in Goa, India, the Intercontinental in Sydney, with top brands like Holiday Inn, Marriott, and Wyndham in the U.S.
Before joining IU, Rahul served as the manager of food operations at Penn State University for 10 years and as director of catering at the University of Michigan. He is Chair of the National Association of College & University Food Services.
