Keeping campus running smoothly

Campus Auxiliaries provide an efficient, integrated network of crucial services that keep campus running smoothly. We provide jobs and career pathways for hundreds of students and area residents and use data tracking and forecasting to support our continuous operational improvement.

Auxiliaries include transportation (bus, fleet, parking, and alternative forms of transportation); dining and hospitality (residential and retail dining, catering, and the hotel); early learning programs; surplus, warehouse, printing, and mail; and housing operations. We work closely with campus partners, including those in student life, faculty affairs, the staff council, individual schools, and more. A typical undergraduate student interacts with an average of seven auxiliaries employees each day.

So, if you park your bike, hop a bus across campus, shop at IU Surplus, drop off kids at on-campus child care, print course materials, or grab a meal anywhere on campus, thank an auxiliaries employee.
